This project is very easy to do! Needed: An aluminum can. A sheet of copper foil of 0.3-0.4mm. Two insulating rubber spacers. An engine of a cd rom 2-3 volts, to be recovered from the inside of a PC. 1 liter of water with 3-4 tablespoons of salt for foods. The duration of rotation of the motor is approximately 7-8 minutes. When the salt water loses energy, it must be filled with fresh water and salt. For the success of this experiment it is necessary to have an engine that has a low power consumption 15-20 mA max and a voltage of 2-3 volts of a motor of a cd rom inside the pc. The use of engines for toys are not suitable for this type of experiment. * The copper foil can't be replaced with other metals. https://youtu.be/6J5R9X8QrJA
Project is very easy to accomplish, required: Copper sheet 240x300 mm. Zinc sheet 240x300 mm. Five rubber insulation 0.3-0.5 mm. Motor 2-3 volts. The voltage that is produced by the system is of 0.73 volts, 45-50 mA. * The sheets of copper and zinc can be varied as pleasure larger, increasing the power. ** The Engine 2-3 volts can be retrieved from "cd rom motor". *** To secure the success of this experiment, it is necessary to have an motor that has a low power consumption 15-20 mA max. and a voltage of 2-3 volts. It 'not recommended to use all kinds of motors for toys.
An Australian company has been working on a system that uses underwater buoys to convert sea waves into zero-emission energy and desalinated water. Australian firm Carnegie Wave Energy has been developing a system called CETO, which aims to utilise sea waves to generate power. Steel-made buoys that can currently generate 240 kilowatts are the main part of the system. At the Australian naval base HMAS Stirling, three buoys are placed 11 kilometres apart. The buoys are less susceptible to extreme weather damage, while underwater waves are sufficient to generate power. The buoys' pumps drive the high pressure water to an onshore power plant via a subsea pipe. The high pressure water spins the turbines, which then generate zero-carbon electricity. The CETO system can be used to power a des...
Sea water with the WPO (Wave Power Only) system using wave motion pumping through the flexible tube in the water tank. From the water tank sea water flows through the flexible water pipe to the vaporizer. Solar heat with the help of parabolic mirrors concentrate the heat on the evaporator surface.Sea water turns into steam inside the evaporator.Steam is passed through stills and it turns into pure drinking water. Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) is a process that can produce electricity by using the temperature difference between deep cold ocean water and warm tropical surface waters. OTEC plants pump large quantities of deep cold seawater and surface seawater to run a power cycle and produce electricity. OTEC is firm power (24/7), a clean energy source, environmentally sustainable and capable of providing massive levels of energy. See http://www.makai.com/ocean-thermal-energy-conversion/ for more
http://www.elementalwatermakers.com Elemental Water Makers provides complete reverse osmosis systems driven by solar, wind and/or wave energy to enable affordable fresh water on-site. Our solutions solve fresh water scarcity, while only using the sea, sun, earth & wind. As a result of increasing fresh water scarcity and limited availability of fossil fuels, we came up with the solution that enables affordable fresh water from seawater or brackish water using only renewable energy: Fresh water is a scarce commodity. Of all the water available on Earth, only a small part is fresh water. Most of it is inaccessible, captured in icecaps and glaciers or stored underground. Easily accessible surface water reaches only 0.3% of the limited fresh water available. Whether a region experiences fresh...
A federally funded research effort to revolutionize water treatment has yielded an off-grid technology that uses energy from sunlight alone to turn salt water into fresh drinking water. The desalination system, which uses a combination of membrane distillation technology and light-harvesting nanophotonics, is the first major innovation from the Center for Nanotechnology Enabled Water Treatment (NEWT), a multi-institutional engineering research center based at Rice University. Simple invention desalinizes seawater for drinking! The 'Eliodomestico' ~ https://vimeo.com/gabrielediamanti "Projects 'for the 90%' mostly fall somewhere between two extremes: charity and business," designer Gabriele Diamanti tells Co.Design. "Neither was my inspiration!" Instead, spurred on by his own extensive travel and friends' involvement in NGOs, he developed a fascination with global water scarcity as a graduate student at Milan Polytechnic in 2005; he recently decided to pursue his interest again and the result is Eliodomestico, an open-source variation on a solar still.
"5/22/2007 Retired TV station owner and broadcast engineer, John Kanzius, wasn't looking for an answer to the energy crisis. He was looking for a cure for cancer." Sounds great, but Stan Meyer ended up dead somehow in the 90s when he invented his famous water powered car. I hope this guy lives long enough to get this invention into production.
How to make Fresh Water from Sea (Salt) water or to clean water without using any energy sources except for sun. No mechanical parts are used in this process - only Glass dome and water pan. This can be used to create Clean Drinking water in for poor countries or in places where only Sea Water is available
http://www.euronews.net/ In Dartmouth, in the UK, technicians are working on a sort of "aquatic bicycle pump" which could be the future of renewable energy. In tests, the Searaser has produced enough energy to power a light bulb, but this is only a prototype and the finished Searaser will be around 13 times bigger than this. Alvin Smith, the inventor of Searaser said: "It is really only a bicycle pump with a float on it. As this pump goes up and down it sucks sea water and pumps sea water out, purely through the action of the waves." He came up with the idea about 10 years ago while playing with an inflatable ball in a swimming pool. Searaser pumps seawater using a vertical piston between two buoys - one on the surface of the water, the other suspended underwater and tethered to a weight...

Researchers at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory have revealed a new technology that reportedly converts seawater into fuel by recovering carbon dioxide and hydrogen from the salt water and turning it into a liquid hydrocarbon fuel through a novel gas-to-liquid process. The two step process begins with the extraction of carbon dioxide and hydrogen from seawater. Scientists let the liquid pass through a cell which is subjected to an electric current. The seawater is next acidified by exchanging hydrogen ions produced at the anode with sodium ions. Meanwhile, the water is reduced to hydrogen gas at the cathode, and sodium hydroxide is formed. The sodium hydroxide is then added to the leftover seawater to neutralize its acidity. In the second step, the hydrogen and carbon dioxide are pa...
John Kanzuis used radio frequency to Burn saltwater as clean, safe and limitless fuel. He discovered this by chance while searching for ways to use frequency to cure cancer, which had all-ready been accomplished as a WELL KNOWN FACT by Dr Raymond Royal Rife (inventor of the microscope), Dr Wilhelm Riech and many others since the early 1900s! RESEARCH THESE FACTS! Dr Raymond Royal Rife: http://www.rense.com/general31/rife.htm http://www.whale.to/v/rife.html Spooky2 Rife to help people in need, here is our story: In 1934, the University of Southern California appointed a Special Medical Research Committee to bring terminal cancer patients from Pasadena County Hospital to a San Diego lab and clinic for treatment. The team included doctors and pathologists assigned to examine cadavers and a...
GO GREEN 2016! Latest state of the art Seawater Power Plant @ Seawater conversion green technology has revolutionary system that generates 3 in 1= Electricity + Fresh Mineral Water + Mineral Salt as a by-product. Let's be part of history in the making NOW!!!.
Green energy is a must in Abu Dhabi and it was a requirement of the project to power the desalination plants using solar energy. There is no lack of sunlight in Abu Dhabi and solar power overcomes the usually high cost of energy for operating the plant, but importantly it has no environmental impact.
